A tight-knit community of locals who see the vision for the future, celebrate the present moment, and respect the past.

Mount Airy’s granite roots come to life in the public spaces with tile work inspired by “The Rock,” the town’s famed quarry, featured prominently at the pour station alongside nods to the area’s local wineries. A vibrant live music scene is reflected through a dedicated microphone moment and custom lighting that carries rhythm and movement throughout. Together, these elements ground the experience in Mt. Airy’s craft, culture, and enduring sense of place.

A New Verse in a Song for The Ages

Mt. Airy’s small-town charm, bluegrass roots, and musical legacy—amplified by WPAQ and hometown icons like Donna Fargo and Melva Houston—inform the guestroom experience. Rooted in the town’s mill heritage, textile craftsmanship is expressed through a custom wallcovering inspired by Spencer’s argyle socks and a statement headboard drawn from an expansive textile wheel. Custom lighting and curated artwork subtly echo Mt. Airy’s music history, uniting craft and culture.
